紫藤凝集素（WFL）的結合特異性還不完-全清楚，但這種凝集素似乎優(yōu)先結合以N-acetylgalactosamine linked α or β為末端的糖結構到半乳糖的3或6位。這種凝集素被用于分離淋巴細胞群，雖然不具有有絲分裂作用，但它能誘導小鼠脾細胞產生淋巴因子。
