雌二醇(estradiol) 是由卵巢內卵泡的顆粒細胞分泌的類固醇激素,是主要的雌激素,負責調節(jié)女性特征、附屬性器官的成熟和月經-排卵周期,促進乳腺導管系統(tǒng)的產生,有α,β兩種類型。其代謝物是雌酮及雌三醇。雌二醇的靶器官為子宮、陰道、輸卵管和垂體。雌激素能促使細胞合成DNA、RNA和相應組織內各種不同的蛋白質。β-雌二醇(17β-Estradiol)可引起促性腺激素的產生從而促進排卵。
